Rental terms, payment & cancellation

Payment, renewal, cancellation, damage and pickup terms for every rental from Lawson Portable Toilets Rental. Questions? Call (314) 408-7740 before you book.

Booking and payment

  • Rentals are paid in full by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) when booked. Booking is confirmed once payment is made and the rental agreement is signed.
  • Approved business accounts may be billed net-30 by check or ACH. Approval usually takes 1 to 2 business days.
  • Quotes are itemized: unit, rental dates, delivery, pickup, servicing, any rush, timed or distance fee, card fee if any, and sales tax. Tax-exempt customers must provide a valid exemption certificate.
  • Drivers do not accept payment.

Rental periods and renewal

  • Event rentals cover up to 7 days from delivery for one price.
  • Long-term rentals are billed in 28-day cycles starting on the delivery date. Each cycle includes one service visit per week.
  • Long-term rentals renew automatically at the end of each 28-day cycle until the customer requests pickup by phone or text. Billing stops at the end of the cycle in which pickup is requested.

Cancellation and changes

  • Cancellations made 3 or more business days before the delivery date receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made between 3 business days and 24 hours before delivery receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before delivery are not refundable.
  • Same-day and rush orders are not refundable once the truck has been dispatched.
  • Delivery date changes requested 24 hours or more before delivery are free, subject to availability.

Delivery, placement and access

  • Deliveries and pickups run Monday through Saturday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. We provide a window, not an exact time. The driver calls ahead.
  • The customer chooses a level, firm location the truck can reach within about 15 feet and keeps it clear of vehicles, materials and obstructions.
  • The customer is responsible for any permit needed to place a unit on a public street, sidewalk or public property.
  • If the driver cannot place the unit because the site is blocked or unsafe, a trip charge may apply.
  • We are not responsible for normal marks to lawns, landscaping or pavers from placing or removing units.

Servicing and use

  • Long-term units are serviced weekly: pumping, cleaning and restocking. Extra service visits are billed per visit.
  • Do not put trash, diapers, paint, fuel, chemicals or cigarettes in units. Contamination may result in a cleaning charge.
  • Do not move units once placed. Call us to relocate a unit.

Damage and loss

  • The customer is responsible for loss of or damage to units beyond normal wear, including fire, vandalism, theft, and tipping caused by moving or misuse.
  • Report damage or tipping right away by phone so we can make the unit safe.

Pickup

  • Event units are picked up the next business day after the event.
  • Long-term units are picked up within 1 to 2 business days after the customer requests pickup.
  • Nobody needs to be present if the unit is reachable.
