How does porta potty rental work?

One call books it, a driver delivers and places it, a technician cleans it, and one more call ends it. Here is every step, with the timing and the small details that keep a rental from going wrong.

How do I book a porta potty?

Book a porta potty by calling (314) 408-7740 or sending the quote form with the address, dates, unit type and head count. You get an itemized price, pay by card and sign the rental agreement by text or email. The order goes to dispatch as soon as both are done, usually within 5 minutes.

Trouble signing on a phone? Ask for the agreement by text instead of email, check the spam folder, and scroll to the bottom for the sign button. If it still fails, we can read the key terms on the phone and record your verbal approval.

What happens on delivery day?

On delivery day, the driver calls about 30 minutes before arrival, rolls the unit on a dolly to your marked spot, sets it level, checks the door latch and stocks it. Deliveries run between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Nobody needs to be home if the spot is marked and the gate is open.

  • Event units are dropped the business day before the event.
  • Gate codes, dogs, low wires or parked cars: tell us when you book.
  • The delivery truck is about the size of a large tow truck; it needs a clear driveway or curb.

How is a porta potty cleaned during the rental?

Jobsite and long-term porta potties are cleaned once a week: the tank is pumped, the inside is sprayed and wiped, deodorizer is recharged and paper and sanitizer are restocked. Event units arrive clean and need no service for a one-day event. Extra visits can be added for heavy use or multi-day events.

Waste goes to an approved treatment facility. In the St. Louis area, hauled waste is handled through the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District’s hauled-waste program, not dumped. In winter, tanks get antifreeze; in July and August, crews of 15+ often move to twice-weekly service.

How do I extend a rental or request pickup?

Event rentals are picked up automatically the next business day after the event. Long-term rentals renew every 28 days until you call or text for pickup, and the unit is removed within 1 to 2 business days. To extend an event rental, call before the scheduled pickup and we switch it to a 28-day rate.

Questions people ask before they book

These are the questions that come up on the phone before people book, answered the same way we answer them on a call. Still unsure about your date, spot or unit? Call (314) 408-7740, or see every porta potty rental question in one place.

Do I need to be there for delivery or pickup?

You do not need to be there. Mark the spot, open the gate and keep the path clear.

Can I change the delivery date after booking?

Date changes made at least 24 hours before delivery are free, subject to availability.

What if the unit tips over or gets damaged?

Call right away. Tipping from wind or ground settling is handled by our crew. Damage from fire, vandalism or misuse is billed to the renter.

What should never go in a porta potty?

Keep out trash, diapers, paint, gasoline, cigarettes and chemicals. They block the pump and can lead to a cleaning charge.
